The shadow of a caress

Summer has gone only two months ago.
But the Sun's rays already appear to be brushed.
They project to the ground each vertical element,
confering it above normal dimensions.
Now, shadows and light cover the forest floor.
The alternation of their streaks reveals a rugged terrain
covered with verdant grasses and glowing leaves.
A breeding ground conducive to the emergence of abundant species.
