The Veilhes Nebula

Depending on the winds,
it appears in the summer sky,
adorned with the sunset gleams.

Evanescent, like a nebulosity.
Surrounded by bright stars
such as a remote nebula
whose glowing silhouette
reveals the ionized hydrogen gaz.

Nebulae and nebulosities
coexist in the starry sky.
They mingle, actually.

How to distinguish these objects
whose diversity of displayed shapes
is the work of an innate sculptor ?
The movement of the air masses,
the erosion by the stellar winds.

The sky brightness is the key
that the slow flow of time
enables to decrypt.
