This photograph showing the Canal du Midi at sunset, shortly before the winter solstice, led to the creation of a photographism entitled « Un soir au canal ». This photographism offers a poetic reinterpretation of this magical place, animating the reflections on the water and statuarying the plane trees lining the Canal.
This photographism is an integral part of an exhibition entitled « PhotoGraphism : Crossed Views » which was presented to the public on three occasions: in 2019 at the Galerie Dominique C. of the Château d'Auriac sur Vendinelle and at the Château des Ducs de Joyeuse in Couiza, in 2021 at the GET Cultural Center in Revel.
This photographism was exhibited in Revel (2021) and on the shores of the Lac de Saint-Ferréol (2021-2022) as part of the Promenades des Arts / Promenades des Arts sous le ciel de Saint-Ferréol exhibitions organized by the City of Revel on the theme of « The Tree and Freshwater ».
