YooKan.org : two Web interfaces
dedicated to (Space) ArcheoAstronomy

Within this section, two Web interfaces are at your disposal :
A Web interface dedicated to (Space) ArchaeoAstronomy will soon make available to anyone willing to contribute to the development of modern archaeoastronomy :

point rouge a set of information resources (articles, books, thesis, space data, etc.) which have contributed in the past or may contribute in the future to the development of Egyptian ArchaeoAstronomy;

point rouge the description of the longstanding known archaeological remains or the recently discovered archaeological remains using satellite imagery and relevant to the archaeoastronomical field;

point rouge a set of software resources (dedicated to the analysis and processing of space data, to modern archaeoastronomy) leading to study the astronomical orientation or content of the archaeological remains. Free tests of these softwares are made available into the Web interface detailed on the right column;

point rouge a collaborative workspace (mailing list, tweets, wiki) between the members of this Web interface;

point rouge a publication area of the results obtained, validated or being validated.

Note : This Web interface is under development. Thanks for your patience ...
A Web interface leading to test for free the Culture Diff' softwares developed for the needs of modern archaeoastronomy.

point vert the dates of solstices and equinoxes in 2012 AD;

point vert the astronomical sources of orientation of the pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara, of the pyramid of Cheops at Giza and of the pyramid of Sahura at Abusir;

point vert the astronomical orientation of the so-called « air-shafts » of the Cheops' pyramid at Giza ;

point vert the astronomical source of orientation of the temples of Hathor and Isis at Denderah, as well as the reasons why the orientation of the main axis of the temple of Isis, built on three occasions, has varied over time.
