The Culture Diff' website is nothing else but the window of the Culture Diff' company registered under the number 431 708 643 00025 at the Chamber of Commerce of Toulouse, France, since july 2000.

This english version is made up of three rubrics : a first rubric entitled AstroEgypto presents the latest results of research works into Ancient Egyptian Astronomy, mainly obtained at the Department of Astrophysics of the Midi-Pyrenees Observatory (UMR 5572, University Paul Sabatier of Toulouse and Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique), thanks to the development and use of original astronomy softwares available within the rubric AstroSoftwares. A third rubric entitled Egyptian Gallery links the Astro-Egyptology related dossiers with time.

Several secured means of payment are at your disposal : payment by cheque, payment by credit card and payment by PayPal balance. First of all, have a look at the list of available products. Choose one of them then add it to your PayPal Cart (payment by credit card or PayPal balance on the secured PayPal server) or to your Culture Diff' Cart (payment by cheque). Once your PayPal Cart or your Culture Diff' Cart is filled with the products you have chosen, click on the Payment button.

First scenario : If, like one hundred people worldwide, you already have a Paypal account, simply enter your electronic address and your password within the secured PayPal form then confirm your purchase. A first e-mail will tell you about the good course of your transaction. A second e-mail containing the informations needed to access the user interface of the softwares you have purchased will be sent to you, a few hours later.

Second scenario : You have no PayPal account but you wish to order via PayPal. Simply enter your details (first name, last name, address, 16-digit number, expiration date and last three digits of the visual cryptogram of your credit card) within the secured PayPal form then confirm your purchase. You will then be able to create your own PayPal account which will allow you to purchase other products thanks to your e-mail address and a password - no more need to enter your credit card informations. Once you have made your purchase, you will receive an e-mail telling about the good course of your transaction. A second e-mail containing the informations needed to access the user interface of the softwares you have purchased will be sent to you, a few hours later.

Third scenario : You prefer to order your products by cheque. Then fill in the Culture Diff' form with your personal details (first name, last name, address) next click on the Proceed button. As soon as your cheque will be received at the registered office of the Culture Diff' company, you will receive via e-mail the informations needed to access the user interface of the softwares you have purchased.

The safety of your personal details - financial information included - is provided by the use of SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption : the confidential information in transit from your computer to the PayPal (eBay group) computers are encrypted - the encryption key length is of 128-bits, the highest level commercially available. No financial information furthermore is shared with the Culture Diff' company. The PayPal system therefore is the only one to be able to debit the total amount of your purchase to your account.
